'log in to' or 'log into'?

I'm speaking as an editor: It doesn't really matter which you choose. What
matters is (1) making a style decision, (2) codifying it in your style guide
(if you don't have one, begin creating one right now with this single
decision about the term you're going to use), and (3) enforcing the style
(being consistent).

I like "sign in" or "sign on" best, actually.
