'log in to' or 'log into'?

Yeah, I just wanted to see if there'd be an argument made for pushing
the issue to get everything changed over to the "proper" way. 

We've always striven for quality in terms of the product working
properly, and the docs providing the info the customer/user needs to
work the product, but as we mature, the company is looking to additional
avenues of ensuring quality.   We're finally getting a GUI for some of
the product line that I handle, and they're being quite picky about
that.  There may yet be an opportunity to rework some things that have
mildly irritated me for a long time, but which were never worth a
battle.

Certainly I can press for consistency in the handling of noun and verb
forms within the interface.  Then I'd better make sure to update every
occurrence in my docs...   :-)
