Today is Pi Day. To be precise, 1:59 this afternoon will be Pi
Minute.

***********

Dang, I missed it!

In the spirit of sharing: Sunday is the Festival of Bacchus (in
addition to Palm Sunday). St. Patrick's Day on the 17th is the modern
celebration of the ancient Rebirth of The Green Man. Spring Equinox
(Ostara, not to be confused with the modern Neo-Nazi newsletter of the
same name) occurs 05:38 Eastern US Time on Thursday (if you get up that
early you're supposed to be able to balance an egg, or maybe that was a
geographical thing and you have to be at the equator). Full moon
follows on (Good) Friday at 14:40 Eastern US.

What's the sense of being a Techno-Pagan if you don't get to enjoy all
of the parties?

Mark your calendars so that everybody is prepared: September 19 is
International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Which does sort of go along with
Pi Day.

Thump.
