Hi, everyone. When I insert a footnote, Word inserts two returns after the rule and before the footnote text. I can't select and delete the returns, nor can I figure out why Word is inserting them in the first place. Does anyone know how to delete the returns, and how to stop Word from doing this at all? Thanks for your help.
