I think the most important question is what are the requirements. Once you
determine the documentation requirements, then you choose the product. Word
is much easier to use, and as you stated, you already have it so it's no
cost to the company. On the other hand, it's less powerful in some respects
and can be quirky. BTW, don't formulate the requirements based on your own
software preferences.
