re: the issue of people preferring anything to reading the docs

Many mechanical products I see (many times German) come with "instructions"
that are entirely pictorial, the only "type" possibly being a measurement.
I like this and realize it doesn't work every time but think it useful to
throw into this discussion. I could see a representation of an email
message containing "unsubscribe" being produced.
