Leverage strengths?

I always figured that when companies advertised for a "team player" it meant that no /coaches/ need apply. They want somebody to occupy a cubicle and be quietly enthusiastic about all the bad scary things happening in the Executive Washrooms.

Like a previous post said, "team player" is often HR doublespeak. It can mean that you work well with others, know your true strengths within a team, and work to leverage those strengths to make the entire team reach its goal more quickly. Or it can mean that you greet *every* company initiative with a "Golly, that sounds real great!" while only using your shovel to hit others in the same sandbox two days out of five.
