I use ForeHelp for all my Windows help file projects.
A client asked me a question about converting to
RoboHelp that I hope someone can clarify.
To convert RoboHelp-created HLP files to ForeHelp,
you run the HLP file through a decompiler to get
HPJ and RTF files. Then, in ForeHelp, you Open the
HPJ file to create ForeHelp development files.
To convert ForeHelp-related files to RoboHelp, is
it a similar process? The person I spoke to at Blue
Sky said that you Import HLP files into RoboHelp.
Is it a one-step process, or do you need to decompile in
a separate program first? Has anyone done this
to know if you lose anything in the translation?
