Hallo:

It used to be (still is for me ;?), that one had to switch from page view to
normal view and back to page view to get Word's page numbering to update
correctly. I do this before I print anything. Going to the end of the doc
and back to the start does not have this same effect, nor does updating
fields.

Try it and please report back if it works. Maybe the pagination updating
feature has remained the same for W2K.

(P.S. Am waiting for SR-1 to switch to Word 2K and Windows 2K, for that
matter ;?)

Hi all,

I am having a really weird problem with Office 2000. Although the
page
numbering appears to be fine on screen and in the page preview, it
is
another story when I print documents. Pages are numbered 22 of 22,
23 of 23,
and so on instead of following what has originally been set(22 of
45, 23 of
45, etc, etc). I tried to fix the problem by setting the page
numbering
directly with fields. The printer ignores it and still print 22 of
22, etc.
