Well, there are lots of ways to deliver Help on UNIX. A standards-based
approach using some combination of HTML, JavaScript, and Java is one
alternative. Authoring tool vendors offer a variety of extensions that will
work on UNIX, including WebHelp from Blue Sky Software, InterHelp from
ForeFront, and WebWorks Help from Quadralay.
What is it you don't like about HyperHelp, and what is it you hope to
achieve with an alternative delivery format?
