We are defining some new style issues in our department. One that has us
evenly divided involves telling the reader to open a web page in a browser.
We have used both "open the XXX page in your browser" and "point your
browser to". Both usages have pros and cons but point is not a favourite
with some members of the department. Has anyone else been concerned with the
use of point and how was the issue resolved? Thank you from a first time
poster.
