True enough. Personally, I don't have any patience with artistic
temperament even in artists, much less tech-writers. In fact, in
any field, the truly accomplished, in my experience, tend not to
flaunt their egos. They don't have to.

At the same time, you don't have to be an artist to have a sense
of craft and take pride in your work. And if anybody doesn't
manage that sense of craft, they will do themselves and everyone
else a favour by retraining and leaving the field as soon as they
can manage the change financially.
