For RoboHelp, you can use Microsoft's free HTML Help Workshop. Get it
here:

Also, RoboHelp does have a demo you can download (big demo, lengthy
download). You can also ask them to send you a demo CD. They are

Don't know of anything for FrameMaker. Best thing I can recommend
there would be to locate a used software store and see if you can pick
up an early version. In a local store (Half-Priced Books), version
2.0 (for the Mac, anyway) was selling for $29.00. I also saw a copy
of RoboHelp there for ... what was it ... less than $50.
