The general consensus was that although technically incorrect, being a
marketing piece allows some leeway and the best solution is probably:
Do you want your staff to get along with others? Solve problems? Get the
right things done? Stop frittering away time? Really pay attention and
listen? Work independently? Motivate others? Improve their images? Think
before they speak/decide? Not just for new managers, this two-day
workshop builds participant skills in these areas.
Other suggestions were:
1. Several people suggested that it REALLY should be a bulleted list, but
that's not an option for this piece. It may comfort you to know that this
information does appear in other pieces; in those it IS bulleted.
2. Use ellipses (Do you want your staff to ... Get along with others etc)
3. Create one long sentence (Do you want your staff to: get along with
others, solve problems, get the right things done, stop frittering away time,
really pay attention and
listen, work independently, motivate others, improve their images, and think
before they speak/decide?)
