In a simple Word document with a few sections of numbered steps, I once again found the numbering picking up from the previous list. I could reset the numbering, but then I lost the third-level indent of that particular style. I could click the indent setting a few times and regain the correct indent. After I did this three or four times, I became disgusted enough to write a quick macro that marched through those steps.

And then Word changed, and no longer picked up the previous numbering. After creating the macro, I've only had to use it once. *scratches head* Has anyone else had this happen?
