RE: Illegal interview question
It is interesting, but only mildly, that in all the diatribe on this
subject, no one has mentioned that the penalties for the employer (your
client) can be pretty severe if they don't verify employment eligibility
before you go to work for them.
Not half as interesting as the fact that everybody has an opinion on matters that are, clearly, a question of law. The response "Go ask a lawyer instead of a bunch of tech. writers" has yet to be offered, and yet it's the only correct answer available.
