I can't say you took the words right out of my mouth, because I
wouldn't have been humorous (which is why I hadn't said anything).
But I echo the sentiments behind the post.
I suppose that people are being conscientious by polling for
opinions, but decision-making is part of any job. And, when a dozen
or more posts are generated on such burning issues as whether the
preposition "on" should follow "click," I can't help thinking that
everyone's becoming obsessive.
It all reminds me of my favorite t-shirt: "Does anal-retentive have
a hyphen?"
