Talking about toys...
We just got a couple wide screen flat panel displays here in the lab. I
hooked one up and was pleasantly surprised that I could fully display
two eight-and-a-half-by-eleven pages next to each other and read them
both. The resolution of high, but the contrast is good and the images
are bright.
Of course, these babies cost over $4000 each, so I should've expected
some benefits other than just a cool looking piece of technology. :-)
BTW, though the monitors themselves do not get hot, their power supplies
are suprisingly warm.
