I agree totally with Mike. I read a professional-type
newsletter the other day (I won't say which one - but
it was communication-related) which included a note
that 'irregardless' does actually appear in some
dictionaries and thus cannot TOTALLY be considered
wrong anymore. (shudder)

I've had a hard time seeing any point to the "don't split infinitives" rule
ever since I first noticed James T. Kirk proposed "to boldly go where no man
has gone before." :o)
