Yes, it is unfortunate that some teachers don't want
to stand against the system when it is failing kids.
However, why should a teacher stand up when he or she
might get fired for it? The already difficult job of
teaching is made even more difficult because a
teacher's hands are tied by laws that protect
disruptive and violent students.
The teacher has already been rendered impotent to
teach much of what needs to be done in the classroom.
It's not the fault of the schools or the educators.
It's the fault of a society that expects no
responsibility of the student or the parents of the
student. It's always someone else's fault, never the
student or parents....
