Ah, this is a sticky wicket. As a single man, I do
not mind married couples or single parents who get day
care or time off for children-related activities. I
support such benefits because when I eventually find
the right woman and have a family, I want those
benefits, too.
What I DO mind is receiving less pay for being a
single man, as if I do not have the same expenses as a
married individual/parent. I have no doubt that being
a parent is a tough and costly responsibility, but I
still believe that I deserve equal pay for equal work,
regardless of whether I have other mouths to feed.
