Someone is trying to send me a file. It is a PageMaker

have some file extensions to try appending to this
filename?

In PageMaker 6.5, the exension is "p65". I think it was "pm6" or "pm5" for earlier versions. Is the someone sending you a file from a Macintosh? Those are the ones without extensions that I see most often.

Also, can I import PM files into another Adobe app? I
need to just extract an image from this file. The
person sending the file is not tech savvy whatsoever.
Getting an attachment was an acomplishment. ;) So, I
gotta do what I can from this end.

You can do it if you have PM, of course, but I think your odds aren't good otherwise. The export needs to happen from within PageMaker.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

When you're shooting the rapids is _not_ the time for a long multimedia presentation on the engineering dynamics of rapids-shooting, complete with bitter arguments between proponents of two different theories of fluid dynamics.
