I think that a really good writer is so because his thoughts and feelings come across almost three-dimensionally in his writing; like a download of what's in his mind directly into the reader's.

SO, I think it is in this way that some of our really talented list members' sometimes condescending attitudes shine through so clearly. It's not the communicator's skill that we'd benefit with a change in, but his attitude. (Maybe a quick walk around the office to use up a little of the energy created by some dolt-ish post before responding would help).


I find head-banging against a wall much more effective. Sometimes I use my own head to bang against a wall, it does have reality inducing powers.
