Do you guys have jobs or what? I appreciate the strong exchange of ideas and
opinions, but give me a break. Please.

Not to mention that I think that

is a good pun (counts -> numbers, get it?), but that's all. As a human being
working as a technical writer, I strongly disagree that the only arena that
matters is one that is quantifiable. Quantify honour. Quantify passion.
Quantify willingness to learn. Quantify persistence. I think those
attributes are just as important to being a good technical writer as
anything that shows up on a usability study.

In homage to Andrew's acerbic wit, I offer the following:

It's only a job. Get over it.
