I've seen the term "run book" used in a manufacturing environment, in which data about each run of a production line (or each lot of a product)is recorded by the production operators. In Lisa's case, apparently her company wants a separate run book for recording the goods shipped to each customer, rather than a chronological record for the line, with customers intermixed.
But this is just a guess, too. I agree that Lisa should ask for clarification before going any further.
