Well, if Plato *is* trolling the list, just think how much he must be
enjoying today's post! (I do seem to recall, not very long ago, some kind of
admin message from Eric Ray in which he suggested that Andrew might like to
be "extraordinarily restrained" for the foreseeable future...?) I haven't
actually read the latest batch of Platonic post, except for what's been
quoted in other people's e-mails, so I have no idea if what Andrew is
currently saying counts as "extraordinary restraint" or not. I assume so.

My solution to the problem of getting e-mails from people who are just using
antagonistic hyperbole to stir up trouble on the list, and who are
contributing nothing new or interesting, is to write a special mail filter
that sends all their e-mails directly to the Deleted Items folder. It's the
only thing to do with trolls. (If you can't leave them out in the sun so
they turn to stone <g>.) I recommend this: it takes no more time than
complaining to the list, and is much more productive and peaceful.
