Hi, Cathleen.

I'm wondering if this is a file that is automatically installed on a

computer when windows is installed so that WinHelp can run. Is this so? If
not, then do I need to deliver this file along with a help system and tell
people where to put it?

This file is installed by RoboHelp. Some functionality that RoboHelp provides requires this DLL to run. If you see something like the following in the config section of the HPJ file

RegisterRoutine(`RoboEx32.dll',`RoboHelpExInitialize',`')
RegisterRoutine(`RoboEx32.dll',`RoboHelpExAbout',`')
RegisterRoutine(`RoboEx32.dll',`RoboHelpExShowNavPane',`S')
RegisterRoutine(`RoboEx32.dll',`RoboHelpExShowSeeAlso',`S')

You're using this DLL. Since you've got it installed on you system, you never get the error message.
