no one seems to be answering so i will. i tested out your file on two different
connections. 1 a T1 connection, the other a DSL of 320K/sec. T1 handled the file
within 10 seconds, the DSL connection took 60 seconds. the file is big with
digital photos.

The user's configuration determines how my browser reacts to downloadable files.
There is no setting on my server.
