TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Should I assume that there are many here who would propose that the Mac and
Cheese cooking directions include moving a chair to the stove to help
shorter chefs? Or, is the answer "it depends"?
The point is, we have to figure out who the audience is and then write the
directions. As far as Mac and Cheese cooking directions go, and given the
size of the box, I'd just describe how to cook the stuff, maybe in two
languages, and be done.
Just a thought. ;?P
