If the button is a graphic button, being grayed out might be an
issue. However, if the button (or menu/list item) is grayed out text,
about a month ago, I posted the SnagIt color substitution settings
and procedure to have all grayed inactive text appear active in the
capture. It ends up looking just like the active text entries.

Try to find it in the archive. If you can't, give me some time to
relocate the message.
