A Declaration of Conformity is something that is used for products sold in
the EC. Ours state that they comply with "...ISO/IEC Guide 22 and EN45014.
It identifies the product, the manufacturer's name and address, and the
applicable specifictations that are recognized in the European community."

Yes it is appropriate - necessary, really.
