A better argument for a results-style resume I have
never read.

The first page of my resume is just a string of
documents written, web sites designed, courses taught,
and anything else in the "other" category that
sounds useful to the desired job. It may not be the
best of layouts, but after reading it, nobody has
cared what my job titles are/were. And a good thing too
- I can't be the only one here who started my writing
career as an "program assistant" & "office manager."

I guess the moral of this story is "if you want them
to read the job descriptions, put what you've done first
and who you did it for later."

Nea Dodson
whose business card reads plain "technical writer" and
has no idea what her company is contracting her out as.
I think "Web Designer."
