Jennifer C. Siler asked:

We use Compose in batch mode to:
* add hundreds of bookmarks to each
of several 500-page docs in one pass
(inconceivable as a manual process)
* validate all of the docs' links
* set the docs' File Open options
* set the docs' security parameters.

Compose has a large number of other features we've not yet used, but
for those we do use, it's been invaluable in automating a significant
part of our PDF production process. For us, it's well worth the price.
