Don't use any formatting. You should draft the
newsletter in Notepad or some other such text editor,
or export the draft to plain TXT when done. Then,
COPY/PASTE the newsletter into an email. Make sure
your email software is set to plain text and not some
formatting-equipped setting. Then send it out. My
guess is that you had smart quotes and such in the
body of the email - plain text doesn't like such characters.
