First, a corporate style guide? Are we talking fact here? If we had one, it
would be a minor miracle. If we had a good one, it would be a major miracle and
its creator a candidate for sanctification.

Now this "consistently-applied" thing? What, pray tell, is THAT? We're talking
so far beyond the realm of ordinary experience that I would expect anyone
encountering a consistently applied corporate style guide has already been
bodily transported to their reward in the after life.

Frankly, I think our poll questions and the TECHWR-L list as a whole would be
better served if we confined ourselves to reality.
