Hmmm, seeing as pedantry seems to be reaching an obfuscating level of
lexiphanic cacophony, I better add my pental cents worth.

A matrix and a table are slightly different. The key is that every element
of a matrix relates to every other. Generally speaking, a table cell relates
only to the terminating headers on the x and y planes, and not to each
other.
