Yes, that's getting to the heart of the matter.

The "folders-organized-by-eventual-location" tend
to multiply, as do the contents, which often apply
to several projects or documents and so have to
be stored many times over across many of those folders.

In Outlook and in NT Explorer, is there a way to
do secondary and tertiary searching on the results
of a first search? I search a few hundred folders
for a keyword and end up with 75 files in the search
results... but "Find" doesn't seem to offer a way
to search for another string in just those 75. It
wants me to start over with the 300 folders.

Anyway, the database notion is looking rather attractive.
