Hi,

documentation from conferences."

I have, in the course of my work, developed some conference documentation.
We had intially toyed with the same idea you seem to be currently using. We
even developed the documentation for one presentation, with the printout of
slides and room for notes. The output was more like study material, and less
like conference documentation. That's when we decided on summaries of each
talk. The complete works were made available on request, but there were
hardly any takers! Everyone seemed happy with just the summaries.

>Does having a lot of documentation prove to those at the home office that
the conference was useful?

Very much. Especially if the company has paid for your presence at the
conference; they would like you to bring home solid documentation as proof
of money well spent.

>Do you ever refer to the notes back at work?

To be absolutely honest, I have known very few people do that! But still, it
is always comforting to know that you have these notes available, should you
require them some day.

or through web access)?

Nothing beats the printed word, especially in documents of this nature.

Regards,

Have a nice day,
