Yeah, right. When was the last time anyone had a choice of interviewers?

An HR interview is more common at larger companies, or for senior
positions. First, the HR person interviews to weed out candidates, then
you meet your potential bosses or coworkers. It's mostly a waste of
time, but, if you stop expecting the world to make sense, it's just one
more thing to endure.
