I went from $77/hr at one contract during the period of May 2000
through March 2001 in NYC to $55 per hour for the contract between
May 2001 through July 2001 and I'm at the same rate($55) on the one
I'm at now, starting at the beginning of this month, scheduled to go
through Dec 31, both in NJ.

No relocation was involved.

IMHO, at the rates/salary we, as a profession, are at, cost of living
criteria is such a small issue that it shouldn't even be a factor. If
we were at/just above minimum wages, then Cost of Living is an issue.
