RE: Biggest salary cut you've taken?

I took a pay cut when I changed jobs from southern CT to upstate NY... about
25% cut. But, with the cost of living, it was still a slight increase in
pay, though not much (maybe $500/year take-home). I negotiated a 6 month
review as well, at which time my pay increased a reasonable amount.
