TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
We will soon launch into documenting the APIs for our company's
in-development .NET controls. Would any of you writers out there who are are
also documenting .NET components, applications, or other .NET-related
software be willing to exchange ideas, information, hints, and tips? To give
examples, we are interested in knowing how many of you are already creating
MSHelp2 documentation, and if you are auto-generating docs using the XML
tags provided in C#.
If you are interested in exchanging ideas, please email me offlist, and I
will create a group, either handling the emails as a pseudo-moderator, or we
can create a Yahoo group, if there's enough interest.
Thanks in advance to folks who are interested in sharing!
Lydia
