Because I am a person who wants to do something when bad things happen, can
I suggest that everyone go and give blood today, regardless of where you
live? I understand that nationwide O+ and O- are especially needed, as these
are the "universal types". Maybe if you are at work, you can round people up
and go.

It is something to do in a rather helpless world today. Perhaps someone will
survive their injuries today because of a steady blood supply.
