All my research into this indicates a wide range, depending on the type of
editing, the level of such, experience, and part of the country. Some sites

This provides information from the Periodical Writers Association of Canada,
indicating a rate of $50 per hour for editors.

Interesting article describing a way to compute your rate. No specific numbers
mentioned, just philosophy.
