Is there a common font family across the programs Microsoft Word, Adobe
FrameMaker for PC and the operating system Unix?

I am creating a Word template that we will use for documentation creation
(Detailed Design Documents) and that will be most compatible with converting
to FrameMaker. Regarding font family choice, I was asked to find out which
fonts were included in the out of the box installations of Word, Frame and
on Unix. (Why Unix also, I am uncertain)

Though I have made several searches, I have been unsuccessful at answers.
HELP!
