It depends upon how complex they are, how big, how much you plan on editing them, and if you need to be compatible with all browsers. Last year I cleaned up a "Save As HTML..." file and reduced it by 90%. Word uses lots of proprietary tags and even a proprietary graphics format in the newer versions (including 2K). Editing tables in a Word-formatted Web page tends to wreak havoc on the code.

Real HTML is not that hard to learn. If you've got huge, complex Word files, you can get the filter plug-in for Word, save with that, and use search and replace to clean up the mess.

Hello everyone, are files converted from Word to HTML using Save As>Web Page
(2000 version) stable on the web? Are links made from this new web page
using FrontPage stable on the web? Or is there another better and relatively
quick way to do this? I'm coming up with a system for non-technical types.
