Hi,

I have been using PVCS on Microsoft Word files for a few years now and have
not encountered any problems (that I know of) that we're caused by PVCS. In
fact, it has proven extremely useful in cases where the file became
corrupted for one reason or another, or when you want to go back to a
previous version.
I've never tried it with FrameMaker files though.
As for the frequency for depositing files, as I am usually writing
documentation as the software is being developed and there are daily builds
of the software, I try to deposit at the end of each day to be able to see
the changes I made in the next day's build. I sometimes deposit more often,
but that is a matter of personal choice.

By the way, I just recently joined this group, and I'm very happy to have
discovered it. It's a great resource.

/Lucie
