This thread is becoming an eye opener. I shudder to think that I didn't get
an interview for a position that I was an ideal candidate (experience and
education) because the Word version of my resume used the Normal style in
the body (w/tables and some character formatting).

I can understand both sides of the issue... but you've got to side with the
people who are making the decision on hiring you.

Looks like some of us (including myself) have an additional template to
make.
