Kelly's company doesn't want to hire contractors. That's their right. Why is
everyone getting so upset about this? Just last week, there was a long
thread about people weeding out resumes based on whether or not styles were
used. I think that would irk me more than getting turned down because I jump
around too much for a company.
~> You need to rethink your irrational and hostile
~> attitude.
I do not think Kelly is acting irrational or hostile. Her company doesn't
want contractors. She has been completely honest and open about why.
Everybody might not agree with the reasons, but they still get to make that
choice... right, wrong, whatever.
~> Kelley, what coompany do you work for, so folks here can
~> avoid applying to it, if they wish?
Kelly wrote earlier that in ads they run, they say "contractors need not
apply". What's the big deal? If you want to contract and you see an ad that
says no contractors, don't apply for the job... or at least don't get your
nose out of joint because they don't call.
