>>What would you do?<<
Right now? You're depressed. Your first priority is taking care of yourself:
so be good to yourself. Spend a week indulging yourself. Go for favourite
walks. Eat your favourite food. Watch movies that leave you feeling good.
Spend time with friends who care about you. Watch a sunset. Sleep late. Do
things you enjoy. Don't worry about what's happening at work.
>>Will blowing the whistle hurt my chances
for getting another job?<<
Yes, very probably. Sorry to have to tell you this, but *even if* you're
utterly on the side of the angels and your intervention saved 9 adults, 4
children, and 3 cute puppies, it would *still* make employers in the same
field wary of taking you on. Therefore, make no decisions *now*.
What I would do? Give myself that week of deliberate self-indulgence and
relaxation, rewrite my CV, and start jobhunting, start date the day I'm due
back from the month off.
>>How much would you tell prospective employers about
what's gone on here?<<
Nothing at all.
Jane Carnall
